Horrible Histories

Still revising (yes, I will be for a while) and it's making me a little slap-happy.  Luckily, the BBC has just the tonic....

  1. What an excellent history lesson. Did he really love Jane Seymore, do you think? (I didn't get that far in the Tudors show - didn't want to watch Anne B get the ax.)

  2. I'm sure he loved the fact that she gave him the son that he wanted, Beth. And she died before she could do anything that upset him. So I believe he did think he loved her best -- after all, he was buried with her.

  3. I love it. I wish this was around when I was going through History class. Now I will never forget what happened to his wives in order...divorced, beheaded, and died...divorced, beheaded, survived...stuck in my head now!

  4. It's a great way to remember, isn't it? I learned it from my 9-year-old neighbor in England, but the song really makes it stick.
